In this lecture, Igarashi discusses examples within and outside of Japan. Igarashi curated Aichi Triennale 2013, where the shopping and residential areas were used as the exhibition sites, and he will explain how renovation was carried out, and evaluate the outcome.

Igarashi has contributed numerous articles and essays to magazines and newspapers, and authored many publications such as ‘The lives of contemporary Japanese architects’ (2011).
