‘Kitakyushu Archaeological Center Relocation Proposal’ Selected as winning entry

Kitakyushu City in Fukuoka Prefecture has organized an open – call for Kitakyushu Archaeological Center Relocation Basic Design Proposal. Katsuhiro Miyamoto And Associates in a joint venture with Tohata Architects & Engineers, were selected as the best entry. The project involves conversion and rejuvenation of the former Yahata Civic Hall designed by Togo Murano into an archaeological center.

Kamigori Town in Hyogo Prefecture has organized an open – call for Municipal Nursery School and Kindergarten Design Supervision Proposal.
Katsuhiro Miyamoto And Associates in partnership with Miyamoto Architectural and Technical Office were selected as the best entry.

ART ARCHITECTURE installation project in Chiang Mai, Thailand ‘A swinging nut on the edge’ has been completed

In collaboration with local architect and crafts persons ‘A swinging nut on the edge’ has been completed. Simple RC posts and galvanized steel beam were constructed to hang a rattan woven seat in the shape of a halved nut located at ‘the land’ in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

‘Komame Cram School’ tension steel rods tightening has been completed

Tension steel rods were introduced to reinforce the existing concrete block structure in a collaborative effort with Jun Sato Laboratory, University of Tokyo.
